Information design is the exercise of applying and displaying information in a way that is not just aesthetically pleasing but is effective and presentable. The information must be able to be understood by the reader easily. Instructional design is the idea of using one’s comprehension of how individuals are able to direct instructional systems and tactics to meet the requirements of the learners and their outcomes.

Beside shows an infographic that showcases water elements. This is done in a creative way but still presents the information needed for one to comprehend. It showcases an instructional system on what the reader/viewer needs to understand about the topic.

The example beside displays how information can be presented using the idea of a mind map. It is able to be understood by the reader or viewer due to the hierarchy of structure. E.g The heading, subheadings, text and image display.

The image to the left is done in a different way to the above examples. However, it still has the same idea of how it’s presented, it has the applied information showcased while being effective in it’s content.
